How do I lock my credit or debit card?

To lock your Visa or Amex credit card or personal line of credit Visa access card:
- Select the credit card you’d like to lock from the account summary screen
- Select Account settings under the Manage menu
- Select Account management and select the Lock or unlock card toggle
If the credit account has multiple cards associated with it, the card lock feature will lead to a separate page where you can lock each individual card.
If your card is locked, you can’t make new purchases, use ABMs, or receive refunds until you unlock that card. Any pre-authorized transactions and bills you’ve set up with that card will still go through. You’ll also be able to use your digital wallet.
If your credit card is saved as a payment method with a merchant, those purchases may still be processed while your card is locked.
Once you find your card, you can unlock it in the online experience.
If you think your card is permanently lost or stolen, you can lock your card and call us at 1-800-472-6842 to cancel it and get a new one. You can also visit a branch.
